Having trouble with your Chevy Silverado Air Conditioning not working? If the AC compressor fails to turn on, it may be one of several things wrong.
First, check the relay fuse. Swap it out with one of the same number to see if that fixes it. If not, try jumping the low side pressure switch (put a wire or paper clip in the two prongs of the plug you disconnect). If you are low on R134 the pressure switch will shut down and not allow the compressor to run but if you jump it then it should run telling you that you'll need to probably add R134.
Also, check that all wires are connected properly by wiggling each connector associated with the AC system (looking for a short or loose connection). It could also be because of the switch inside the cab so good luck in figuring out what is wrong.
